Join ARA / HamClubOnline

How to join through HamClubOnline

ARA uses HamClubOnline (HCOL) for membership. Your HamClubOnline account is separate from your ARA website sign-in. Membership is $25 to join and $20 to renew.

  1. Open HamClubOnline

    Follow the HamClubOnline link below. If you already have an HCOL account, sign in with that account instead of creating another one.

  2. Create an account if you are new

    Use HamClubOnline’s registration option and follow its prompts to enter your contact information and callsign. Complete any confirmation steps it requests, then sign in.

  3. Find the ARA club

    Look for the option to join or apply to a club. Search for Appalachian Repeater Association or the club callsign W8ARA, and select the matching club.

  4. Submit your membership request

    Check your contact information and complete the club’s application prompts. Follow any membership or payment instructions shown by ARA in HamClubOnline.

  5. Check for updates

    Check your email and your HamClubOnline account for your membership status or any follow-up from ARA. If you cannot find the club or need help, contact us below.

Fill in our one-page membership application on screen (or by hand), print it, and mail it to Berlon Roberts Jr. Dues are $25 to join and $20 to renew. Questions about dues, payment, or anything else? Email Berlon directly and he will help.
